Elaterium(Dilution)

Tincture of unripe fruit is used to make the medicine.

Causes & Symptoms for Elaterium

• Profuse watery stools, coming out with a gush.
• Elaterium promotes the opening of abscesses and boils.
• It is indicated in chronic inflammation of the neck of the bladder and in cystitis.
• A constant sense of weight or pain in the region of the neck of the bladder.
• Chronic inflammations of mucous tissues is an indication for this remedy.
• Perspiration relieves all the symptoms.
• Effects of damp weather or standing on damp ground, worse by damp.

Mind and Head

Violent tearing pains throughout the head

Stomach and abdomen

Nausea, vomiting of a watery substance, or of greenish, bilious matter, with great weakness

Cutting, griping pains in the bowels.

Stool and Anus

Bleeding of haemorrhoids is an indication for this remedy.

Urinary complaints

Frequent desire to urinate, with pain if the urine was retained for a short time after the desire.

Urine frequently voided with pain and difficulty, pain after urination.

Extremities

pains shooting to the tips of the fingers and toes, and then shooting back into the body.

Shooting, also dull aching pains in the course of left sciatic nerve to the instep and toes.

Skin

Urticaria all over the body is relieved with this remedy.

Side effects of Elaterium

There are no such side effects. But every medicine should be taken following the rules as given. 

It is safe to take the medicine even if you are on other mode of medication like allopathy medicines, ayurvedic etc. 

Homeopathic medicines never interfere with the action of other medicines.

Dosage and rules while taking Elaterium

Take 5 drops in half cup of water three times a day.

You can also medicate the globules and take 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

Precautions while taking Elaterium

Always keep a gap of 15 minutes before or after meals when you take medicine.

If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a homeopathic practitioner before use. 

Avoid eating tobacco or drinking alcohol during the course of medication.
